The 24-Hour Rule: At St. Gabriel CYO Athletics, we ask parents, coaches, and commissioners to wait 24 hours before addressing any concerns or incidents from games or practices. This pause allows emotions to settle and encourages thoughtful, respectful communication.
Reflection Prayer:
Lord, help us to pause, reflect, and approach each situation with patience and understanding. Guide our words and actions so that we respond with grace, support our young athletes, and honor You in all we do. Amen.
By taking this time to reflect, we model respect, self-control, and faith—helping our Cubs grow into confident, respectful GRIZZLIES both on and off the field.
At St. Gabriel Athletics, our goal is to help student-athletes grow into respectful, confident young men and women. We believe sports teach powerful life lessons, and our coaches focus on three core rules:  Honor God, Be Respectful, Try Your Best, and Have Fun!

​Through hard work and commitment to their team, athletes develop skills that extend beyond the field—strengthening their character in the classroom and the community. Our young Cubs grow into proud GRIZZLIES!
How to Qualify for St. Gabriel Athletics:
  • School Enrollment: Your child attends St. Gabriel school.
  • Parish Membership: The parent(s)/guardian(s) are registered members of St. Gabriel parish.
  • Parish School of Religion (PSR) or RCIA: Your child is enrolled in and regularly attends the PSR or RCIA at St. Gabriel in the current school year of the sponsoring parish and lives within the defined boundaries of the parish that would sponsor the team.
  • Neighboring Parish: If athlete is a member of a neighboring parish in same section as defined by CYO, and school does NOT currently offer a sport for that specific level.

Support St. Gabriel CYO Boosters

What is the Grizzly CYO Booster Club? A group of parents and supporters who help raise funds to support St. Gabriel Athletics to enhance our CYO sports programs.
How Can I Help? Join us! We welcome anyone willing to support our parish children by attending occasional meetings and helping with fundraisers.
How Are Funds Raised? Through events like the Fall Sports Bash, CYO Football Host Site, and Grizzly Classic Tournament. 
How Are Funds Used? To provide teams with balls, equipment, uniforms, and to help keep CYO registration fees affordable.
I’m Busy—Can I Still Help?Absolutely! We meet only 3–4 times a year, and most involvement centers around our fundraisers.
