Grizzly Cub Care
The Grizzly Cub Care Program provides quality after school care, supervision, and recreation for St. Gabriel School students in Junior Kindergarten through 6th Grade. The program is staffed by St. Gabriel teachers and aides and serves as an extension of the school day.
Program Hours
Cub Care operates on regular school days from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Students may be picked up at any time during the program before closing at 6:00 p.m.               
​A late fee may be charged for every minute a student remains after 6:00 p.m.
Registration and Fees
After an initial registration fee, families pay an hourly fee per child for the days their child attends Cub Care. The program is available on school days throughout the year except for the scheduled closure dates listed below.
Cub Care Closures
Cub Care will be closed on the following days:
  • The day before Thanksgiving Break
  • The day before Christmas Break
  • The day of Open House
  • The day before Spring Break
  • The day of 8th Grade Graduation
  • The last day of the school year

Program Expectations
Cub Care is an extension of the regular school day. Students are expected to follow the same behavior expectations and school rules that apply during school hours.

St. Gabriel School's Grizzly Academy provides an excellent opportunity for St. Gabriel 6th-8th grade students to complete homework, studying and reading in a quiet working environment. Grizzly Academy is available four days a week, Monday through Thursday, from 2:40-3:30pm. The program is facilitated by St. Gabriel School teachers, who provide supervision, allow for the appropriate use of school technology, and assist with clarification of students’ questions.

Grizzly Academy is an excellent opportunity for busy students to complete homework and group work right after school, freeing up precious evening time for family, sports and a myriad of other activities. It also provides peace of mind for parents, knowing their children are supervised by St. Gabriel teachers and studiously completing homework and other academic activities in a quiet environment. Students must arrive at Grizzly Academy ready and willing to work on their school work. Please note, this is not a tutoring program.
