The St. Gabriel Learning Loft Preschool is a Christ-centered, comprehensive preschool that offers a loving experience to help transition your child into the world of education.

Our highly qualified teachers receive training to keep current with new concepts in the field of preschool education.  This is then translated into the classroom setting so your child will be exposed to various ways to express creativity, methods of learning and play. 

In our centers-based curriculum, students learn through active exploration and interaction in a hands-on environment.

We use the Ohio Department of Educations Early Learning and Development Standards. These include:

  • Social - Emotional Development
  • Physical Well-Being and Motor Development

  • Social Studies
  • Language
  • Literacy Development
Our teachers have been trained and implement award winning curricula such as Fundations, Handwriting Without Tears, and Conscious Discipline.

Fundations is a  systematic researched based multi-sensory program that teaches the foundational skills for reading and spelling by emphasizing phonemic awareness. It is focused on student development by differentiating instruction and actively engaging students in their learning.
Our preschool students love the engaging activities Fundations offers and we see amazing progress in their literacy skills.

Learning Loft Educational Programs 

Learning Loft Daily Schedule

Learning Loft students can expect to follow this general daily schedule:

Circle Time
Reading stories, reviewing activities for the day, theme for the day, finger plays, songs, religion, and prayer

Discovery Time
One on one academic activity with teacher, math or literacy activity, art project, writing center, building center, table work

Gross Motor Time
Great room, outdoor activities, dancing, tumbling

2nd Circle Time / Science

Experiment / Directed Activity
