Dismissal: Pik My Kid, Bus Transportation and Car Rider Procedures
Pik My Kid App
St. Gabriel School uses PiKMyKid for dismissal purposes. As the new school year is beginning we realize our existing parents may need a refresher on PikMyKid and our new parents to our school would like to learn more about PiKMyKid and how to use the program.
If you have any questions regarding downloading the PikMyKid app or just general questions about PikMyKid please contact Michelle Clarke at Michelle.Clarke@st-gabrielschool.org
Please login to PikMyKid and confirm details. If anyone forgot their passwords, needs help connecting to a newly enrolled child, or wants to update their primary pick up mode you can do this all before the fist day of school! If you experience any issues or have questions you may also contact PikMyKid at email@example.com or you can reach them through the help button right in the app.
PikMyKid has updated both the Parent PDFs and the Parent Training video for your use.

Bus Transportation & Car Rider Pick Up
The Riverside, Mentor, and Painesville City Schools plan, transport, and communicate to you their schedules.
St. Gabriel School office gives a list of students who reside in Riverside SD and Painesville SD to transportation departments.
Mentor SD requires this form to be filled out for transportation.
If you haven't heard from your school district by the Monday in August before school starts, please contact them directly.
Painesville City 440-392-5674
Under Ohio law (ORC 3327.05), the Mentor Board of Education cannot transport a Riverside student to a Mentor address without a written release from the Riverside Board of Education. Likewise, Riverside cannot transport a Mentor student to a Riverside address without written release from the Mentor Board of Education. It is the parents' responsibility to make the necessary arrangements when such a need arises.
All cars and buses enter by the driveway between the school and church.
Buses drop children off at the main entrance of the school building.
Car riders enter and pass main entrance, pass playground, proceed to the right, pass kindergarten hall, and proceed down to the car rider door on the right hand side. Please have children exit the right hand side only. Staff are on duty at all entrances for safe arrival.
Buses arrive and park in the coned off area of the parking lot. Students are dismissed to the buses through the Main Office entrance doors and the Multipurpose Room entrance doors.
Parents picking up students must enter by the driveway between the school and church, park ONLY IN THE AREA OF THE LOT THAT IS OUTSIDE THE CONES, and then remain in their cars. After buses are cleared from the area inside the cones, parents will be permitted in the building to pick up their child from their designated door (see below). Picture ID or Family ID # is required for pick up. Teacher individually check students out of their classrooms.
In order for a quick and safe dismissal, please see the map and alphabetical door assignments for pick up. After the buses leave, parents will proceed in line to their designated door. Be sure to have you family number (distributed at set up today) or a photo ID.
Here are the door pick up assignments:
Door B5... A to G (Kindergarten Hall Door that opens to playground by shrine)
Door A4... H to R (Brady Hall/MPR Doors by small parking lot)
Door A3... S to Z (Main Office Doors that crosswalk leads to)
No child is allowed to go from the school to a car in the parking lot unless accompanied by an adult.
2:30 pm is our dismissal time.
