Financial Assistance

We are passionate about Catholic education and committed to help families in need of tuition assistance. Please let us know if we can be helpful in these processes. There are five primary sources of Financial Assistance for families:
  • EdChoice for  ALL families. 
  • Angel Scholarship Fund 
  • Parish Assistance
  • Diocesan Assistance & Fund A Dream ​
  • Jon Peterson for children with special needs

EdChoice Scholarship by State of Ohio:

Since July of 2023, EdChoice has expanded its offering significantly to ALL families. 
This Scholarship should be applied for as soon as enrollment is secured by ALL families and precedes all other scholarship opportunities.

Angel Scholarship Fund

Parish Assistance Directions:

Parish Assistance is available to families who are active parishioners of St. Gabriel,  who first complete the FACTS application form (see below), and demonstrate a need for assistance. A critical consideration in the process of seeking tuition assistance is the involvement of the family in the Catholic Community of St. Gabriel. Only St. Gabriel registered and active parishioners will be considered for aid provided by the parish.  

Diocesan Assistance & Fund A Dream Directions:

Diocesan  Assistance is available to families,  who first complete the FACTS application form (see below), and demonstrate a need for assistance.  To qualify for Diocesan Aid, all FACTS applications must be submitted by March 15. Tax returns used must be prior year that just ended of school start (i.e. 2024 would be used for 2025-26).

Scholarship Opportunities: 

There are many opportunities within the St. Gabriel Community and other entities that would like to help your family afford Catholic education. Here is a listing of scholarships and application processes. 

Jon Peterson Scholarship

St. Gabriel School is proud to offer the Jon  Peterson to families who have children who have an  Individualized Education Plan and qualify for this funding from the Ohio Department of Education.  PSI is our administrator for this funding. More information can be found here or please call the school.  This funding is only applicable to services not for tuition. 

FACTS APPLICATION PROCESS for Parish & Diocesan Assistance

There is not a hard copy option.

Make a difference with the Angel Scholarship Fund! 

Everyone who pays state of Ohio taxes can help St. Gabriel school simply by directing your tax dollars you would pay anyway to our school! Sound too good to be true? It takes five minutes and makes a BIG difference! SGS friends, parishioners, and parents have made significant contributions to this state fund and the the sky is the limit!
