Education Gannon University Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction Philosophy I believe in teaching each child to their own individual strengths and needs. It is a priority of mine to build a classroom environment that is encouraging and accepting of each child's unique story and attributes. I feel honored to play a small role in each of my students’ lives and I take that responsibility to heart. It is my strong belief that education extends way past the school walls. Mrs. Ackerman
Mrs. Yolanda Ackerman teaches 5th Grade. She earned her Pre-K to 3 and 4/5 endorsement as an Early Childhood Education major from Lake Erie College. Mrs. Ackerman has been a short and long-term sub for Painesville City, Riverside, Mentor and Willoughby-Eastlake school districts. She has shared that she is committed to a student centered teaching philosophy anchored in strong relationships and is skilled at integrating technology and designing meaningful learning experiences to reach every learner at their level. |
